As clearly shown in the second image, the head exhibits beautiful, strata-like grain characteristic of Pernambuco, highlighting the use of a precious central part of the wood. High-quality Pernambuco wood is characterized by its very dense fibers with fine wavy patterns perpendicular to the grain. These patterns are an important indicator of the wood's strength and beauty.
The fibers are consistently connected throughout the wood, ensuring uniform vibration of the bow and excellent responsiveness during play.
