Vintage Chinese Brass Enamel Floral Trinket/Pill/Jewelry Box Champlevé

This vintage miniature brass box is a beautiful example of Chinese export craftsmanship. The exterior features recessed panels of champlevé enamel on the lid and three sides, showcasing a traditional chrysanthemum floral design in vibrant shades of cobalt blue, forest green, and earthy red. The box is constructed of solid brass and features a hinged lid. The underside is clearly stamped CHINA, a mark typically found on pieces intended for the Western market. This piece is perfect for holding small treasures, daily medications, or serving as a decorative accent on a vanity or desk. Size: Approximately 1.25 inches in length, 1 inch in width, and 0.75 inches in height. Condition: Good vintage condition. The brass exhibits a natural, dark aged patina throughout. The enamel panels are largely intact with some light surface wear and minor pitting consistent with age. The hinge is functional but a little loose, the lid wiggles a bit.
