CHRISTIAN DIOR Vintage Burgundy Jacquard Skirt Suit 2P

This is a vintage 1990s skirt suit from Christian Dior in a burgundy damask or jacquard fabric. The jacket features a color-mached velvet collar and cuffs, and a single soutache-covered button at the waist. It has small shoulder pads, and although the sleeves appear to be bracelet-length in the photos, they would be full-length on a petite wearer. The pencil skirt has a high waist sculpted with waist darts; it closes with a hidden back zipper. The shell fabric is 61% wool and 39% acetate; the velvet trim is 100% cotton. The lining is unlabeled but appears to be a synthetic like acetate. Both pieces are labeled size 2P. The suit could probably be worn by a shorter, but not necessarily petite, person, with a fit that is closer to the fit on the mannequin. Review all photos carefully because they too are part of the description.  JACKET MEASUREMENTS* - Shoulder width is 15.5 - Underarm chest measurement is 32 - Waist is 30 - Sleeve length is 23  - Length is 20 down center back  SKIRT MEASUREMENTS* - Waist is 25 - Hips are 36 at 8 below waist. - Length is 22.5  *Do not rely only on the size label or estimated size to determine fit. Always compare actual measurements with a similar garment that fits you.  CONDITION Excellent condition with no significant flaws and minimal signs of previous wear.
