Round Gourd (Bottle Gourd) Seeds - 50 Seeds

These are seeds for round gourds. The gourds are approximately 15 cm in diameter.

Harvested in 2025.

Cultivation methods are the same as for common gourds, but these have strong vine growth, so we recommend growing them in a relatively spacious area. Please grow them in a well-draining, sunny location.

The seeds were harvested after the fruit was fully ripe (after the vine had completely withered). They were removed by making a hole in the fruit without letting it rot, dried in the shade, and then stored in a cool, dark place. While they should germinate if sown in the spring of this year (2026) even with storage in a cool, dark place at room temperature, germination rates are likely to be higher if stored in a non-freezing location in the refrigerator (such as the vegetable crisper). (Please note that these are from personal cultivation, not from a seed company, so we cannot guarantee germination rates.)
