These seeds are harvested from organically grown mugwort.

Compared to Honshu mugwort, the aroma is sweeter and the bitterness is milder. In Okinawa, it is eaten raw or used as a condiment.
It is characterized by larger, softer leaves than Honshu mugwort.
It also tends to grow tall, and in warmer regions, the above-ground parts remain through winter.

With this goal in mind, the seedlings I ordered from Okinawa grew large and produced many seeds, so I'm sharing them.

We will include branches with seed heads. Please gently rub them to release the seeds.
(These are very tiny seeds. Please use a magnifying glass or microscope to find them.)

They sprout quite easily when scattered on moist soil.
