The key feature of this functional hide is the presence of holes in addition to the entrance! This prevents stagnant air from building up inside. This can help suppress mold growth within the hide. (This does not guarantee that mold will not grow.)

Unglazed terra cotta is ideal for increasing humidity when filled with water, but it also becomes a prime environment for mold.
Therefore, the unglazed terra cotta dish, which is prone to mold, is designed to be easily removable and washable without moving the main body of the hide!

The main body is made of PLA material, not unglazed terra cotta, to prevent mold growth! The interior has rounded corners to avoid injuring your pet.
