14 Bay Laurel, Laurus nobilis, Bare Root Plant

?? The bay laurel is an evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean coast. It is easy to grow in Japan and is widely planted as a garden tree, hedge, and park tree. It also tolerates pruning, making it ideal for topiary such as standard trees.

?? It seems to be commonly sold under the names laurier or laurel in herb shops. It is also sometimes called bay leaf. Although there are various names, they all refer to the same plant.

?? As a herb, it can be used to add aroma (flavor) to various dishes, such as stews, making it a convenient herb to grow at home. Since it is an evergreen tree, you can harvest it whenever you like, which is another appeal.

?? The pot size is 6cm. Please use this as a size reference. The three leaves at the top of the image are new shoots that developed this year and are growing well.
