A mattress cover will be included for protection during shipping. Please dispose of it if not needed. It was used for about 5 years before I changed my bedding due to a change in preference. It was expensive at the time, so I kept it in long-term storage rather than let it go to waste. There are no smokers or pets in the household. We hope someone who can utilize this item will find it, understanding that it is a used product.
