Width: 80mm / 75mm

This is a set of one diamond whetstone and one glass base.
After purchase, please let us know your desired grit from 240, 400, 1000, 2000, or 3000 via a message.

The highly flat float glass is ideal as a base for thin diamond whetstones.
Sufficiently thick glass is used to prevent warping during use.
In addition to regular knife sharpening, coarse grit whetstones are effective for flattening stones, and fine grit whetstones are effective for slurry generation on natural whetstones.
Furthermore, even when the diamond whetstone reaches the end of its life, the glass plate can be reused, making it economical.

Please attach the diamond whetstone to the glass plate using double-sided tape or similar adhesive.
When replacing the whetstone, warming it with a hairdryer and inserting a scraper or similar tool in between will make it easier to remove.

To prevent issues, we generally ask that you attach the whetstone yourself.
We can attach it for you for ￥100 per whetstone, but please understand that we cannot accept complaints regarding the attachment method.
If you wish to have it attached, please let us know in the comments before purchasing.

Shipping is via Yu-Packet Post.
If you require careful packaging and damage insurance, you can upgrade to Takkyubin Compact for an additional ￥300.
