Description
This pendant is made with sashiko stitching using traditional Japanese fabrics such as indigo-dyed vintage cloth, along with sashiko thread and cotton thread.
This particular piece uses vintage katazome (pattern dyeing) fabric.
The back is made with a tenugui (Japanese hand towel) dyed with persimmon tannin.
It is lightly padded with cotton, giving it a slightly plump feel.
?? The cord is made of waxed cord.
?? It is lightweight, so it won't cause shoulder stiffness.
?? The cord can be shortened to be used as a strap.
