This is a US Navy peacoat from the 1930s-1940s.

There is damage to the lining of the collar and the pockets.
Additionally, there are small holes and thinned areas in the lining in various places.
Embroidered tag
Chin strap, all 10 buttons are present.
Features old cat-eye buttons and original anchor-marked buttons on the inside.
Left and right hand warmers, corduroy pockets.
