This garment is made with Toray Lycra® fiber, known for its excellent stretch and recovery, allowing it to stretch 4 to 7 times its original length when pulled and return to its original shape immediately when released. Made with finer fibers than cashmere, it offers a supple feel and is crafted from acrylic that resists pilling, reducing common knitwear issues. It comfortably fits the waist and hips without feeling constricting.

The double-layered waistband ensures it stays in place, providing not only the function of a susoyoke (hem guard) but also the warmth of a haramaki (belly band). Furthermore, this versatile garment can be used in a variety of ways, such as a nibushiki juban (two-piece undergarment), an inner layer for Western clothing, a petticoat, for layered outfits, or as a hip wrap.
