Kadomatsu Laughing Bamboo Thin Bamboo Hachiku Approximately 15cm-20cm 3-piece set Click Post

The corners are sanded multiple times to ensure a smooth, peaceful year without any sharp edges.
Each item is crafted with the wish that the buyer will experience much happiness and spend their days with a calm and peaceful heart.

We have cut Warai Bamboo (laughing bamboo) for mini Kadomatsu from the fine bamboo (Hachiku) in our garden.
This is a set of 3 pieces, approximately 15-20 cm each.
You can easily decorate your entrance or tabletop and enjoy the New Year's atmosphere.
It's a compact mini size, so we believe it's easy to store away.

Before shipping, the cut ends are sanded with multiple files to make them soft to the touch (see image 4).

Image 5 shows an example of what is actually shipped.

If you wish to have new bamboo cut and made, it will take time to produce, so it is difficult to ship on the same day as your purchase.

[Example of how to bundle 3 Warai Bamboo pieces] *See image 6
Image 1 is difficult to see clearly because text has been added, but it was taken by securing the bamboo with rubber bands at two points, top and bottom, and placing it in a cylindrical glass cup.
Bamboo is oily and slippery, so rubber bands are easier to use for bundling than zip ties.
Also, if you want to make it easier to separate later, you can bundle them with zip ties after temporarily securing the less visible parts in the center of the three pieces with glue or masking tape.

[Regarding the price]
Production takes several days as it is all handmade and requires time and physical strength.
Cutting the bamboo and making the diagonal cuts are all done by hand, one by one.
Then, multiple pairs of scissors are used to cut off any splintered parts, and multiple files are used for finishing.
It is particularly physically demanding, so we cannot cut many pieces per day.
We handle each piece one by one, considering the weather, while also managing daily chores and packing and shipping for other customers.
The pricing reflects the effort and time involved, so we appreciate your understanding.
