Planing is a state of navigation where a significantly larger amount of lift than buoyancy supports the object.
When the hull is lifted by the lift acting on the bottom of the boat and enters a planing state, the bow lowers, and the boat glides over the water with a trim angle (longitudinal tilt) of 3° to 5°.
Therefore, the stabilizer also generates lift on its underside at a trim angle of 3° to 5°.
This lifts the outboard motor and helps it reach a planing state more quickly.
If the sides of the stabilizer are bent parallel at 90°, the water hitting the underside of the stabilizer has only one escape route to the rear. This causes water to stagnate at planing speeds, reducing the stabilizer's lift and thus its planing effect.
Bending the stabilizer body is necessary to maintain its strength.
This product is designed with the minimum necessary bend to maintain strength, and is shaped with a taper that widens towards the rear to facilitate water flow and ensure planing effectiveness.

Material: SUS304 (Stainless Steel) 2B Grade, 2.0mm thickness
Laser cut and bent

Resistant to saltwater corrosion (rust) and exceptionally strong due to its bent construction.

Protects the propeller when the outboard motor is placed horizontally.

Significantly reduces water splash from the propeller onto the lower part of the outboard motor (reduces seawater spray onto the engine).

Hole drilling is required on the outboard motor for installation.

(The left side is attached with the anode metal, and the right side is installed with the included bolts after drilling holes to match the stabilizer.
Mounting bolts are included (stainless steel).
