Description

Rare Find ☆ Handmade Japanese Rod 7 Shaku (2.1m) Hotei Bamboo

Thank you for looking.
This is a handmade Japanese rod for black sea bream fishing, which was my hobby in the past.

The first section from the handle to the middle is made of Hotei bamboo, and from the handle to the joint, and from the second joint to the tip, I believe it is made of fiberglass.

It is a 7 shaku (2.1m = 210cm) specification, and the actual measured length when assembled is 210cm.
It is quite old, but I believe it can still be used if maintained.

It can be used for drop-shotting/shore fishing targeting black sea bream under breakwaters, as well as for bait fishing (dango and bakudan styles).

Please refer to the images for the rod's action and tip stiffness. (Images with 1-go and 3-go sinkers attached are included.)

Note: The fixing string on the tail side of the reel seat is detached, making the reel seat loose. Please be aware that you will need to repair this separately before use.
Note: A rod bag is not included. Thank you for your understanding.

Finally, as mentioned before, this is a completely handmade product and is an antique. There may be oversights not mentioned in the description or age-related deterioration in durability. We appreciate your understanding.
Please also refer to the numerous images for other conditions and make your own judgment.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the comments.
