Vintage Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain plate/charger, circa 1950s–1970s, richly decorated in the traditional Famille Rose palette with alternating figural court scenes, birds, flowers and fruit surrounding a central medallion. Rose Medallion developed as colorful Chinese export porcelain during the 19th century and remained popular with Western collectors throughout the 20th century. Made in China and bearing an apocryphal Qianlong/Daqing reign mark honoring the celebrated Qing emperor rather than indicating 18th-century manufacture. Dimensions: 10.5 diameter × 1.25 H. Condition: Vintage condition with a chip to the underside foot rim and scattered dark iron inclusions/deposits from the kiln-firing process. Please review photos.
