beautiful, highly unique vintage 1985 studio art pottery trinket dish/catchall tray originating from Franklin, North Carolina. This piece features a lovely multi-toned blue glaze on the upper and lower sections framing an unglazed speckled white center band decorated with hand-painted abstract birds in flight (seagulls or terns).The reverse unglazed terracotta base is clearly marked with its geographic origin FRANKLIN NC along with an incised, stylized animal/human stick-figure emblem logo, a large stamped conjoined initial JF, and the year 85. Condition: Good vintage condition. 1 small chip on rim. Rich glaze finish. Please review photos for scale and exact visual condition details.
