⭐︎New⭐︎ British Army Body Armor Vest Desert DPM Camo Deadstock

Purchased new at a store in Kyoto's Kyogoku. I'm selling it because my son doesn't seem to want to wear it.

This is a British military issue body armor vest, known in the British military as ECBA.
ECBA stands for Enhanced Combat Body Armour (British English notation), and was adopted for the entire British military in the early 1990s, replacing previous flak vests such as the M1952 and M1969. Although the new OSPREY series was adopted in the 2000s, ECBA continued to be produced and used due to its lower cost compared to the OSPREY series.
The first generation of Desert DPM camouflage ECBA was used during the 1991 Gulf War, and the second generation model was used during the Iraq War and the Afghanistan conflict in the 2000s and beyond. Subsequently, in the 2000s-2010s, the new camouflage MTP was introduced.

The front and pockets open and close with Velcro, and the width can be adjusted with Velcro on both sides. The pockets were used for inserting ballistic plates, so they are large capacity with wide openings, making them very easy to use. The zipper inside the vest was used for inserting stab-proof and puncture-proof soft armor. There is also an epaulet on the chest for attaching tabs such as rank insignia.
